In May, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsville hosted a chicken barbecue to raise funds for a good cause. Throughout the year they support many local causes including Friends of Night People, the Lockport Food Pantry, and many more. Ellen Pachioli, one of the founders of Home of My Own of WNY, is a member of their parish and was delighted to hear that our organization would receive proceeds from the fundraiser. The BBQ was a huge success with many from the church—and others—buying dinners to enjoy with their families. Home of My Own of WNY was the recipient of the profit and was presented with a check for over $2,000. Thank you St. Paul’s!
